How? Make
an appointment with a certified energy efficiency advisor who will perform
on site a detailed assessment of energy consumption in your house, from
the attic to the basement. Among the eligible improvements and renovations:
attic thermal insulation, outside wall insulation, exposed floor insulation,
insulation in the basement, foundation insulation, insulating joists
in the basement, crawl space insulation and ceiling insulation. They then provide you with a detailed assessment report including a list of recommended retrofits to improve energy efficiency of your home. The report also shows the amount of subsidy for each eligible upgrade if you decide to make these retrofits. You may be eligible for an amount up to $ 5,000. To
learn more about this program or to make an appointment with an energy
advisor, visit ecoaction.gc.ca and follow the links to the ecoENERGY
Retrofit, or call 1-800-622-6232. |
